They can hide blemishes, acne and dark spots from the skin, but they can still be used interchangeably. In short, concealers are not meant to be used on the entire face, while makeup foundations are.

They Exist in different forms and types

As mentioned before, they are one of the most common and crucial cosmetics. They are most commonly used before starting a daily makeup routine. They have many advantages, and we can only consider keeping them in our makeup kits.

1. Very effective in hiding dark circles, which remain one of the most common facial skin problems.

2. It can also deal with black spots and effectively hide with little application.

3. They can effectively be used on the brow arches to give your eyebrows an even and unified look if you forget to trim them.

4. They can also conceal varicose veins, zits, scars and certain conditions like redness and puffiness.

5. If you only have a concealer but forgot to bring your lipliner or lip gloss but still want to give your lips, it will save the day. It can be used on their lips to give them a plump-up. Put a small dot on the upper and lower lip and blend it with your fingers. You are then good to go for your next pout.

6. Use your concealer on the eyelids before using an eyeshadow primer. It will make double the amount to stick at your lids. Cool little hack.

7. Next time you make your eye wings, swipe your angled brush on the tip of your concealer. This will neaten up the resulting wing.

9. You can also use concealer sticks to add contour to your face. Just make sure to get the one with darker tones than your skin and can be used on the usual spots suitable for contouring.
